A few days ago I gave Simon, of keyishoes, a carving knife that was becoming a little blunt. I had sharpened it a few times at home, which was ok, but the time had come to have it done professionally.
The end result was a job well done, carving meat is like slicing butter and slices are no longer like doorsteps and a joint now lasts a little longer, so the cost of sharpening the knife is now paying for itself with interest.

I phoned Simon – my living quite a way from Carlisle and as our discussions progressed on a Transponder key for my car it was becoming more likely (and he was aware of this) that I would more than likely have to shop closer to home on this one. BUT… despite all this Simon never waivered in offering patient, helpful practical and technical advice to assist me. Even to sending me a very clear and helpful email within minutes for me to consider.
So anyone coming to this website can rest assured in my personal opinion they are dealing with an efficient, friendly and genuine person who will do his best for all who visit, whether he gets the order or not.
In my book this is the mark of someone who would never knowingly let you down. Carlisle is lucky to have this man trading in that area. If I was living there he would definitely have got my business regarding the transponder key – no doubt about it.
Finally, “thanks Simon for all your advice – although I may have to go down the road you hinted at and trade a little closer to home” with a man offering what seemed to you a very fair and efficient service also in transponder keys.

Had boots to re-heel at home for weeks never managed to get into town with work commitments. Finally had them re-heeled up at Kingstown today great service would recommend to anyone, drove right up jumped out and fixed in 5 mins!!
