From time to time keys are lost, broken or locked in a vehicle and want to improve our services in these emergency situations. This is an area of our business that will take time to develop but we have been successful in the majority of cases. So what can we do and what tools do we have at our disposal?
Lost Keys
If all your keys are lost, then sometimes the first thing we need to do it help you gain access to your vehicle. But we can usually obtain key codes and keys cut to that code can usual be in hour possession within 24 hours.
Car Entry
If you have ever locked your keys in the car at best it is inconvenient and at worst downright dangerous. Imagine if your young child was locked in the car and too young to open the door for the inside! Another reason to ensure that there is always a spare key for your vehicle! However, Keyishoes have tools and picks to enable simple car entry in many cases. As said previously this is a new service which will take time and experience for us to fully successful but listed below are the vehicles we have had success with so far:
Kia Sedona – My first! – Used the Air Wedge and ‘Fishing Pole’ to reach and press the interior central locking button
Ford Focus – Mums car! – Used the Air Wedge and ‘Fishing Pole’ to reach and press the interior central locking button
VW Golf – Both keys locked inside and out of reach under the seat. I picked the drivers lock using our new Lishi picks specifically designed for laser keys
Peugeot 206 – Locked with keys in the ignition – Used an door air wedge and Twisto snare to unlock the car from the inside
Ford Ka – Our colleague Steve Curry, picked the lock decoded it then we cut the keys using our onboard machine. I then programmed to new spares
Ford Sport Ka – This one proved to be slightly more tricky. Not the same as Ka. This time we picked open the door and removed the lock. Dismantled the lock and read the code. Then cut and coded new keys
Ford Mondeo – Stolen Keys. We picked and decoded the locks, cut new keys and then coded them after deleting all stolen keys
DAF wagon – Keys lost. Decoded the lock and used depth and spacer keys to manually produce new keys
Rover 620 – Keys locked in the car. Used Jiggler keys to open the lock and retrieve the keys
All these procedures use professional tools to avoid damaging the vehicle. I will add to the above as and when we enter more cars.
Broken Keys

Using specialist tools, in most cases we can extract the broken bit and copy the key either using the broken parts or by reading the cuts on the key and using depth & spacer keys to replicate a new one. If all else fails we can usually obtain a key code and get a new key cut to code delivered within 24 hours.
